What is Zmey Gorynych Royal?

Zmey Gorynych Royal is a Christmas-themed, three-dimensional snake battle royale. You control a snake in a shrinking icy arena: eat glowing treats to grow, hunt smaller snakes to earn kills, and avoid larger ones — all while the deadly ring closes in. The last snake standing wins.

The game is free, requires no download, and runs entirely in the browser. It includes wintery decorations, a village, a train, a Santa car, falling snow, and a bright neon ring that slowly tightens as the match progresses.

The game's core ideas

• Grow — eat treats scattered across the snowfield to increase your mass and length.
• Hunt — you can only eat snakes smaller than you; bigger snakes can eat you.
• Survive — stay inside the closing ring or you will burn.
• Boost — speed up at the cost of your own length; use it wisely.
• Power-ups — grab transient abilities such as shields, speed, magnets, ghost form and frenzies.
• Progress — earn coins, unlock skins and track your best length, all saved locally.

Why we made it

We wanted a quick, pick-up-and-play game that still offers real strategic depth, and a bright winter theme that is fun during the holiday season and beyond. It is built as a single, self-contained web page so it loads fast on both desktop and mobile with no install and no login.

A note on technology

The game is a self-contained HTML page that uses WebGL via Three.js. All textures, sounds, music, 3D models and art are generated in code — there are no external files or services to load, so the game works even on a simple static host.
